The Green Door is the entrance to Silverado's Restaurant and Tavern. Located at 112 W. 2nd Street aka as Main Street. Their hours are: Dining hours Monday-Wednesday 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; Thursday-Saturday 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Tavern/Bar hours are Monday-Wednesday 11 am..-2 p.m.; Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
Thursday nights Mountain Oysters are always on special.The first Saturday of the month Shrimp is the special. ("That is for now...depending upon the seafood prices with the oil spill." says Shelly) Saturday's lunch special is Mexican. Weekday lunch specials are available along with all the regular menu items. Such as; the freshly hand pressed hamburgers and Chicken Fried Steaks. Shelly Stone the owner buys her meat locally from the local Farmers and Ranchers that process through Prime Meats Locker in Yates Center.
If it is liquid refreshment that you are looking for on a hot day like today. They have beer on tap and in bottles along with soft drinks. So I suggest you stop in soon and visit with Shelly and crew!
